Jeanne Falk Adams (Ansel Adams' daughter-in-law) introduced me to watercolor painting while camping along the shores of the Colorado River nears Lee's Ferry, Arizona. While I didn't care for the paint type (watercolors go everywhere!), I gravitated toward acrylics shortly thereafter. My friend and fellow photographer, Bruce Hucko (aka Art Coach), teaches my Moab Sheography "Lines in the Landscape" painting lessons. I paint for myself to learn about the craft and to see the world (and my photography) in a different light. And because it's darn fun to do. These are iPhone snaps of some of my paintings that have turned out to my liking.
